Safed House Community Development Intern

Safed House, a welcoming place for refugees and immigrants to share their stories in a culturally sensitive context, is  seeking an intern for the spring semester. At its core, the intern position is about building out the “brand” of Safed House in New York.  Safed House was founded in the Southwest in the Scottsdale, Arizona area and has a 4 year record of working with refugees and immigrants to tell their stories.  Recently we expanded our work to the New York markets.

Qualifications:  Ability to do research, have good communication skills, a self starter, have an interest in refugees and immigrants. Best majors are Communication, writing or marketing majors.

The intern will report directly to one of the co founders of Safed House.
