Social Media: Gourmet Marketing’s Social Media Intern will be someone creative, tech savvy and willing to take charge. The intern will assist in conducting research on clients and social media strategy, scheduling posts onto platforms like HeyOrca, Planoly, Facebook Business Manager, etc. and have a hand in creating content calendars. This position is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn client relation skills, witness marketing concepts at play and become proficient in a number of social media tools. This position will be overseen by members of the creative department.
Digital: Gourmet Marketing’s digital intern will be an individual that is creative, collaborative, and receptive to constructive feedback. The intern will assist with original content development for social media and small advertising projects including ad and website design, client mock-ups and internal design development. In this position, the internwill have the opportunity to learn and refine their skills in design programs including Photoshop, Sketch and Canvaas overseen by members of the creative department.
Communications: Gourmet Marketing’s communications intern will be an individual that is creative, organized and proactive. The intern’s position will involve assisting in the research and synthesis of press releases, the creation of action plans related to ongoing client accounts, the development and management of media lists, and monitoring client social accounts. From time to time, the intern will help manage content scheduling and planning pertinent to active social media campaigns. This position is a great opportunity for interns to learn the ins and outs of PR and marketing as they intersect.
