TITLE: How to Succeed at Jobs that Don’t Exist Yet
Date: Sept. 26, 12:00 to 1:30pm
Location: Campbell Dome, Queens College
Speaker: Christopher Bishop

OVERVIEW:

Nanopharmacist? Lunar tour guide? Robotic ethics consultant? Augmented reality content designer? Have you heard of these jobs? If not, you will. And you and your children and your grandchildren will be doing them. And working in many other roles we can only dream about – sitting here in 2018.

Based on the seven careers Christopher Bishop has successfully navigated over the past 40 years – from touring rock musician to social media executive at IBM – he is the poster child for how to succeed in the 21st century’s global borderless workplace. Learn how to apply his three Future Career Tools – Voice, Antenna and Mesh. Then participate in hands-on Future Career Invention Workshop activities – since 85% of the jobs you will be doing don’t exist today!
